Dear Mom,
I am so happy for you. Daddy and Herbie were your life and now in Heaven you are complete again. I miss you so much. I wish you were here, you could always seem to make me feel better. I have that feeling that I have when something bad is about to happen and I don't think I can stand much more. Please ask the Lord to spare whatever this is that is upon us. Our family has mostly stayed apart since the passing of Dad and Herbie. Everyone is just stressed out. I don't think we can hold it together for anything else. At lease I don't think I can. Ask the Lord to touch Rose, Mom she has been so sick. She is heavy burdened down. We have tried to get together as often as we can. Dear Mommy,
It's me again. I just wanted to say Goodnight and tell you that I miss you. Ask God to watch over our families, we are definitely in the need of prayer. It has been a long month for us. We have lost a lot of family members. The huge family that you and Daddy loved so much seems to be shrinking every day. First there was Dad and Herbie, then Lucy (Larry's Mommy), then Joe (Mary's brother), now Jason Burkhart (James Burkhart's little boy), he was killed in a car wreck last night, now Rosalie is back in the hospital with chest pains. It is crazy, I don't hardly know how much more our family can stand. Carmon was with Joe when he died. I guess he was really closer to him than he is to us. I am sure it was hard on him. It has already thrown me into a light stroke causing me to lose the sight in my right eye when we lost Daddy and Herbie in that fire, now I just don't know Mommy. I am at the end of my rope. I feel like God is just taking our whole family. I know it won't be long until he will be coming back for us all. He is taking his children home. That is what Everett always says. I guess we will go on because we must, but some days that is easier said than done. Well, I guess I had better go to bed, I have to go for some tests at the neurologist in the morning. dear mommy,i just wanted to say hi i love and miss you mommy i am having a hard time with daddy and herbie being gone the best part of it all is that you came to me and let me know that you were here for herbie and daddy but for a split second i was so angry at you because i did not want you to take them from us because daddy has been mom and dad since you left us in 1985 and we always knowed no matter how big or small the problem was dad was their so now we are left here with no one to help us and i dont know if i can do this on my own mommy you ask me to take care of daddy and herbie and i did the very best that i could and i know that i could have done better but it is hard when you have your own family but i tryedso i hope i made you proud daddy was missing you so bad and herbie was to but it is so hard without them here i just wish you would have came back and let me see them in your arms one more time i know they are truely happy mommy i always know when you come to me that you are getting me ready for something and i get scared because i never want to give up any of our family so mommy just take care of daddy and herbie because i know that you all are happy now so just pray for us because we are not very strong right now so mommy i love and miss you all love always teresa Close

Dear Mommy, I love and miss you and your beautiful smile. I was putting pictures on Daddy's website and I put some of you, it made me miss you so much. I know you are with him and Herbie now. I am so happy for all of you. It is just really hard for those of us left behind. Now we don't have anyone to turn to in good times or bad. That is hard to realize. I don't think you ever stop needing your mommy and daddy. I told Everett I will dread it so bad when something happens to me or him, we are all our children have now. I always knew if anything happened to me that Daddy and Everett would take good care of them. Daddy was a great Dad and Grandpa, you would have been proud of the job he did. He definitely took over where you left off. You were a wonderful mother and grandmother and you are sadly missed, but Daddy did his best to help us all through the loss of you.
